Introduction

“Family” is a single word, but it has many different meanings for different people. One definition is “a fundamental social group in society typically consisting of one or two parents and their children.” While this generally describes a family, there are a lot of families uncovered by this definition like single-parent families and childless couples. From here, we can say that there are a lot of different types of families and that includes blended families.

Like a family, a blended has no definite and final meaning. As blended families increase, there are many definitions that arise out of people’s own experiences with their own step-families. A blended family is one where the parents have children from previous relationships but all the members come together as one unit.
